We stayed at the Copper Vine Inn for our anniversary this year and had an amazing experience! From being offered a drink and a spot to relax when we checked in prior to getting our keys, to the delicious complimentary breakfast on the upstairs patio in the morning before we checked out, our entire stay was wonderful. The room was very clean, extremely well put together, and had the most luxurious bathroom we’ve ever had the fortune of experiencing at a hotel. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. We had dinner at the restaurant downstairs, and it was phenomenal as always. The pork chop was cooked perfectly and the grits were savory and perfectly paired with the salty collards. The chicken sandwich was also delicious. Nice and light, but filling. The location is also amazing; easy to get to, easy parking, and a perfect spot to stay if you’re in town for a game or concert. The innkeepers and staff were all extremely kind and genuinely interested in how our stay was going and making it better any way they could. We can’t recommend the Copper Vine Inn enough for a comfortable and relaxing stay in the city!
Consistently Great, But This Visit Was Exceptional! I’ve been to Copper Vine over 20 times in the last five years, and while it’s always been a favorite, this most recent visit was by far the best experience I’ve ever had—not just here, but at any restaurant. We called in for a last-minute reservation, and they were kind enough to squeeze us in. When we arrived two hours later, the host greeted us warmly with, “Owen! Hi, I took your reservation—nice to meet you!” It was such a thoughtful and personal touch, and we were seated immediately. Our server, Trevor, was incredible. We ordered the truffle fries, but he immediately let us know about potential cross-contamination issues, as I have celiac disease. He then suggested a few gluten-free alternatives that were just as delicious (if not more so). I ended up going with the crab bisque and the chef’s house-made gluten-free bread—both were phenomenal. This level of attentiveness, knowledge, and genuine hospitality is so rare. I truly felt cared for, and it made the entire dining experience unforgettable. A huge thank you to Trevor and the entire Copper Vine team—you’ve always been great, but this visit was on another level. Keep up the amazing work!
What can I say other than I highly recommend and that we will be back?! We went to conquer the menu and we did! 9 different dishes and every single one was fresh, flavorful, colorful, and hit the spot! Drinks and service were also great! And, do yourself a favor and don’t skip the bananas foster bread pudding. We needed to wheeled out of there after this meal! Chef Amy….Chefs kiss!
I had such a wonderful experience here! The atmosphere is vibrant yet relaxed, making it the perfect spot to unwind. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I also loved their happy hour from 3 to 6, such a great value with plenty of options to enjoy. The service truly stood out as well. Yanna was our server, and she went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Friendly, attentive, and professional, she made the experience even better. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food, great drinks, and outstanding service.
Pretty restaurant with a nice bar area and two separate eating areas. Lovely outdoor seating also. Food was very good. Oysters and pork belly appetizer was delicious. Oysters were fried to perfection with a great crunch. Pork belly was tender and sticky in a good way. Pub cheese was okay probably wouldn’t order again, was a little bland. Duck confit was very good, tender and tasty and the beans served with it were also very flavorful. Short rib pasta another hit. Pasta had a chew and short was tender and juicy, an all around great dish if you like short ribs. Bread pudding was absolutely amazing. Very sweet but full of flavor and large enough to share. Beignets were a little disappointing. They looked amazing when served but were definitely oily. We had an 8:30 reservation and they close at 9 so we were there late but were still disappointed when we were told we couldn’t order an espresso because the machine had already been cleaned for the night. Overall really enjoyed this restaurant and would return.
